What's more, a lot of publishers and platforms have offered iframe embed method, instead of the traditional object embed method for their videos, which can dynamically display Flash or HTML5 video content to users depending on the client devices.

In January 2010, YouTube launched HTML5 Beta, an experimental version of its site, and only browsers that support HTML5 video can play the videos in this HTML5 Beta version of YouTube.
