YouTube Acquires Next New Networks and Launches YouTube Next Program
The world best search engine Google has made two acquisitions today. Just several hours after the acquisition of British price comparision site BeatThatQuote.com for GBP37.7 million (USD61.2 million), Google-owned video-sharing site YouTube announces that they have acquired video production team Next New Networks, which has been rumored since the end of last years.
Founded in 2007, Next New Networks focuses on high-quality web video production. After the acquisition of Next New Networks, YouTube immediately launches YouTube Next program, to help video publishers grow faster and make more successful videos with the support from Next New Networks’ experts team. In other words, YouTube aims to push their partners to generate more attractive videos.
YouTube has always valued the cooperation with their parners. Last year, the video site released Partner Grants Program to help video publishers to promote their videos and make incomes. At Christmas Eve, YouTube even sent each of their partners $1000 voucher to help them improve the filming and production equipment.
YouTube Next is a global program. But it's not known yet that how many people around the world will be included in the program.
