The untimely passing of Amy Winehouse prompted her YouTube video searches and Billboard performance

It has been such bad news for the untimely passing of Amy Winehouse last Saturday. Music fans and other people have been prompted to seek out some of the singer’s most popular songs and music videos on YouTube. And according to the YouTube's viewing and search data, Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" became the top rising search on YouTube. The official Amy Winehouse "Rehab" YouTube video has reached more than 11 million clicks, while 6.5 million of which came from last weekend. Meanwhile, her other two songs "Back to Black" and "You Know I'm No Good" were seen over 4 million times each.

Besides the rising search on YouTube music videos of Amy Winehouse's songs, her songs also got favored on Billboard. After her passing on Saturday, July 23, Amy Winehouse's second album, 2007's "Back to Black," re-enters the Billboard 200 albums chart this week at No. 9 with 37,000 sold in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan. The week previous, it sold just 1,000. Winehouse's first album, 2004's "Frank," also comes back to the tally, re-entering at No. 57 with 8,000.
